A good Chinese place with good food fest service. Fast takeout.moderate prices Good drinks. Has a restroom. Very few desert options. But sweet frog or Harry's are close by for desserts

Good cheap Chinese food and friendly staff

Great Chinese food at reasonable prices. We travel through Colchester often and like to eat here when the mood for Asian food strikes. On this occasion, which was Sunday lunch, my son was with us. My son and I enjoyed a combination meal while my wife ordered from the chef's specials. Not one of us were disappointed with our selections.

Good food. Not little kid friendly. Told my 2 year old to settle down. He was only being a typical tot. Will never go back to eat in maybe take out.

The food is decent and reasonably priced. Under new ownership it has improved within the past year or so. It is a good place to eat, casual and friendly but hardly fine dining.

Not too many old style Chinese restaurants around any more. Nice to find one still around with great food. Convenient stop on the way to Mohegan Sun or Mystic.

My father used to take my whole family there since before I can remember. Many birthdays, and just about every special occassion you can think of was spent eating this amazing food. Great atmosphere, great service, great drinks. Truly a gem. So much so that I often venture here from New Britain. Superlative.

It's a mediocre spot in a town that has mostly average restaurants to begin with. I often come back just because of the convenience of living only 5 min away. If I'm craving Chinese food, I tend to split my visits between Gung Ho and the several other local spots that have similar offerings. Their competition seems to be a bit better regarding some dishes. However, Gung Ho is reasonably priced for what it is. Their customer service could be better though. I wouldn't call them rude, but close. Again, convenience is key here. I wouldn't come here expecting anything spectacular.

Called them was put on hold while I had to listen to lady talk for 5 mins then had to repeat my order 3 times only to be put on hold don’t waste your time

I'm obsessed with Fried Chicken!! The chicken and waffles were the best I've had. I wish I could eat here every morning and night lol I would recommend it to family and friends. The chicken was so crispy and had so much flavor. The waffles were perfect and sof

Bland, boring. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere or make some top ramen. 85% of our order went in the trash. Luckily I had some left over pizza in the fridge.

I've been here a few times and never had a bad meal. Good food, good friendly service, parking in back. Drinks are good too 😀. Recommend.

Boneless spare ribs, pork fried rice, and egg roll...all just "okay". I was disappointed with the total blah meal. It filled me up, but I didn't totally enjoy it.

personally been able to find a few gems here, despite being routine Chinese American take-out. reasonably priced. wide selection, excellent menu options.suggestions: offer baozi and a full dim sum menu. but there's hoping.

Good "cheap" Chinese food which seems to be a pattern, it tastes way too sweet and a little cheap. The service is great, very attentive. I ordered a couple hand rolls recently as take out and they weren't even closed; this particularly bothered me because you can tell just by looking at the closed box which means whoever packed it decided not to correct the mistake.

I find the main food to be pretty mediocre, but the sushi here is extremely good. The firework roll here is the best individual sushi roll I have ever had. I highly recommend this location if you are just looking for sushi.

They have half price sushi rolls every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. And their sushi is really good. The only problem is the service can be slow if you order a lot because Tuesday to Thursday aren't high traffic days so they usually only have one chef working.

Not the best. Not the worst. But the service is good.

Ordered Edamame and Dim Sun Sampler - tiny tiny shrimp but the overall taste of both were great! Needs larger silverware selection the spoons for dining were basically serving spoons and the "tea" spoon wasn't much smaller. I think it'd be difficult for an older person or a child to use. Good musical choices, fitting for the scenery. Curt waiter who was a little awkward but not rude per say. I would go back but not a first choice in my book.

Extremely rude staff. They actually close at 9 if your wondering cause they are too lazy to stay open till the time they claim

I love this place!! I have never been to a friendlier resturant and the service is amazing! The food is the best I have ever had and they are my go to place for a peaceful and enjoyable dinner!

Phenomenal food, service and atmosphere!

We go there for every family gathering and most birthdays! The staff is very friendly and they make us feel right at home!!! We have been going there since I was a child and I will continue to support their hard work and good food! Love ALL of the food and their recently updated decor. Not to mention, the great scorpion bowls!!!! :)

Meh, I could take it or leave it, the food was just average and the service was on the slow side. Honestly if I had to do it over I wouldn't go here.

Great Chinese food and the prices are very reasonable. This is my wife and I's "go to" spot for date night.

Food was not cooked fully and everything came on the side. Not too friendly. I would not eat here again. The food was also very soggy and hard to eat.

I got chicken fingers from them and I took a bite and there was plastic in it.... I called an they just said “Okay” won’t eat there again

Absolutely delicious food...definitely the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. Friendly staff, great service and wonderful owners on site. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area.
